Hospital Stops Hiring Tobacco Users
Due to the hospital's commitment to health, Chattanooga hospital in Tennessee has decided to stop hiring tobacco users. Testing for nicotine will be added to the drug screen. Any applicants who test positive for nicotine will be disqualified for employment - even if it is due to nicotine gum or a patch. The new rule will not affect the current employees of Memorial.
